I met her, Jackie Onasis. Growing up I was surrounded by the Kennedy clan. My uncle George spent summers as the lone security guard at her estate on martha’s vineyard. My Aunt Tee was the caretaker in Hyannis, her husband the handyman. We all came from the same place: my great grandfather had been close friends with Joe Kennedy, same as their fathers before them.
I spent my childhood exploring these now sacred places, amazed at how it only took two generations for my family to be in servitude to theirs.
